This week we visited the Periscope gallery on Ben Yehuda 176, for the launch of a new art book called Contemporary Israeli Design, by editor Avi Lubin and creative Tomer Sapir. Tomer is a young inspiring artist and designer whom I've had the privilege of studying with, I took two courses directed by Tomer and recently witnessed his art presented at the largest Israeli art event, Fresh Paint, a few weeks back.
Gallery Periscope is celebrating 15 years of showcasing and promoting contemporary Israeli design, I am looking forward to visiting again, opening between 7.5 -11.6. 2011
