We know this post is not about an Israeli design/event or designer achievement specifically, but we found it very interesting the reference to Israeli design the Brazilian Campana brothers made in an interview they had with one of the most popular financial newspapers in Israel today, the Calcalist.
Humberto Campana said he connects with Israeli design as it is similar to where he comes from."Israeli design tells the story of its origin, Israeli designers are aware of the tension and uncertainty of reality and the things around them." Referencing his own country's security concern too, Campana explains that the idea of all things being temporary, changing from moment to moment is something that is engraved in their consciousness too. As such, when Humberto sees Israeli design, he can relate.
